It is always certainly wise to have a backup battery and a charger kit for your Xbox 360′s controller. You don’t want to be in the middle of a game (especially if it’s on Xbox LIVE) when your controller decides to stop working because it has no power.
There’s a couple of things you can do. You could purchase a wired controller that plugs into your system via USB. This is good but you might not want the cables everywhere. You could then go for a wireless controller. You can put either a battery pack in these or some AA batteries. The good thing with the battery pack is it’s rechargeable, whereas with the other batteries you must keep purchasing them. We’d recommend going for a play and charge kit as it’s more cost effective in the long run!
